Fedora, Debian or Gentoo

Most of the differences I've found so far are small.   Others on this 
list have clearly been having diffulties.  Some packages with unclear 
licensing (such as Pine) have been removed.   Some upgrades to 
not-yet-official package (Samba, for instance) have been implemented.
I think it's early in the game to say what Fedora will become.   Right 
now it's very closely linked with RedHat (but with the advantages of
YUM and apt-get.)   I've only set up my won workstation.   Time will 
tell if this is stable as a server.   But I've found 6, 7, 8, and 9 of
RedHat all worked for us as servers, despite threads to the contrary
here.   We know many Debian installations that work jsut fine. 
Sometimes the choice is really among many good things.   So many Linuces
(what's the plural?)/ so little time.
