Hi,

No, i had the same Problem using a Toshiba Satelite.
I found out, that the problem depends on a bug in the XFree86 4.3.x support for S3 grafic chips.
First i downgraded to version 4.2 of XFree86 and everything was fine. The update to the latest XFree86 (4.3.0-2.90.43) also solves all mousepointer problems.

Greetings, Martin
