Agreed.

Still, ultimately I think there should be a Usenet presence, since for
many (myself included) reading lists like this is likely to be something
they just do occasionally.
It also makes me nervous about providing (and having published) a real
Email address, since I have gone to a lot of effort to protect my mail
system from spam. Yup, I know the address is munged in the archives,
however I'd just feel more comfortable posting to a newsgroup with a
fake address.
