I'm considering trying "stoned beaver" on my athlon box, but I only see i686 and x86_64 kernels in http://people.redhat.com/arjanv/2.5 -- does this note: "I no longer build athlon kernels because in theory the 2.6 kernel now has a mechanism to automatically runtime patch in these optimisations during boot" ...mean I should use the i686 kernel?
