I think that's the best thing, too.  There needs to be a choice for just
about everything to keep people happy.

You have people who think it should be the way it is (me for one) and
then you have people who think it should go back to the way it was.  I'm
not sure how to get back to the thread that started it all, but there
was a long discussion about this and much heartache over making this the
default.

Like I mentioned earlier, I don't know why there's no option.  Someone
gave a pretty good technical reason for it, but if enough people
complain, then maybe changes will be made.
