apt-get, slow downloads

Um, you mean downloading from freshrpms.net is ok/fast otherwise but
extremely slow with apt? Don't see how that would be possible, as long as
you use same protocol for access. And in any case, try to find a closer 
mirror (dunno if one exists though)
