HTML in list submissions

The redhat list has an auto-responder that, when it detects a poster 
sending an html message, sends a reply to the poster with a link that 
explains why html posting isn't a good idea and even has tips on how to 
shut it off for popular browsers.

Is there any way that this could be incorporated into the fedora list?
