How to enable 'reduced_resources' feature in Metacity

Ok, could someone please confirm if:

A) the 'reduced_resources' feature is available on 'Metacity-2.4.0.92-5'

B) and if so, how to enable it (in 'gconf-editor' maybe, need location of
key, etc...)

Any help would be appreciated!
