Installing latest Mozilla version

Is there any FAQ or instructions on how to install the latest versions 
of Mozilla, so they work with Redhat/Fedora install. I've manually 
installed it, and then repointed the link to the default location that 
mozilla uses, but then creating another user still points to the older 
version. Is it a special location that it needs to be installed in.
