Well, might not the best place here to start a MTA disput. But

I agree

I don't agree  :-)

I find a rather a broad consensus that sendmail is much more powerful
and capable for the "power administrator". Postfix is easier to handle
and there are less occasions to produce an erroneous configuration for a
"part time adminstrator". The freely available documentation is better
and the log entries and messages are more descriptive and self
explanatory. And there are some design decisions in postfix, which
minimize the risk of damage in case something is going wrong. So it's a
better choice for me and - I suppose - for Mike.

Agreed. But you have to make your own configuration file to make it work
usefully. So Red Hat's well made preparation must be modified.
