anyone use desktop post-its?

I use KDE 3.2.1 and Knotes.  But every time I quit/restart Knotes, it
        - pops up 2x post-its with the title "Action"
        - loses the geometry (size + placement)
        - loses the colors and fonts

Surprisingly, none of my personal messages are lost.  I just have a hell
of time resorting.

Anyone have recommendations for another post-it type application?
