Determining IP information for eth0 failed

Hi,

RH 9.0 and Fedora Core 1 have a similar problem with some network cards. 
I found the following solution:

Add to the configuration file '/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0':

check_link_down() {
return 1;
}

If you indeed have the same problem, this should work.
