Question SMB:///

Why is it that if I launch nautilus smb:/// it takes forever to find the
workgroups where as typing

[root at localhost chadley]# smbtree -D

RECOVERY

It is almost instant would there be a good reason why the front end
takes so long to insert the results of the back-end. 
Or did some clever programmer decide he would force us to like the
backend HA HA! :- )

Just curious no real problem,
