Yes check the  Fedora-test-list.

In this case the first disc does not boot for some systems/burners.
The work around is to use the Fedora Core 2 Test 1 boot disk and
switch at the first opportunity.  I suspect that a FC1 boot
disk+switch would also work but I have yet to try it.

So test is test and this little bug is known and has a work around.
