Hello Christoph

A couple of small things from a VERY new Fedora core 1 user...

Looking at my new Fedora partition's files makes me suspect you must
have meant:

"cp /etc/lilo.conf.anaconda /etc/lilo.conf"

As another lilo addict I quickly looked at your suggested quickfix.
And it wasn't very hard to find the file you mentioned...

But as far as lilo itself: I just installed core 1 from yarrow-i386-disc1.iso,
yarrow-i386-disc2.iso, & yarrow-i386-disc3.iso All of which had the
correct md5sum(s) AND passed the "built in" media testing.

BUT When I looked for lilo in /sbin... Well:

# ls l*
ldconfig*  lsmod@   lsusb*      lvextend*          lvmsadc*   lvrename*
logsave*   lspci*   lvchange*   lvmchange*         lvmsar*    lvscan*
loopctrl*  lspnp*   lvcreate*   lvmcreate_initrd*  lvreduce*

No lilo <sigh> incidentally "# which lilo" didn't help either...

I presume I can get an rpm for it, but is there one specifically for
fedora? Or will I have to look for a generic lilo rpm? At the moment, I
don't even know where to look for rpms that are built for fedora yet,
care to point me in the right direction?

Though, actually, when it comes to lilo itself, I guess I can just work
with the lilo from one of my other 4 current linux partitions, But I much
prefer to have a working lilo on each and every one of my linux
instalations... So I'd like to get it working for fedora too.
