Anythnig to watch out for on a laptop?

some people would fiercely debate your statement about liking their products and the quality of said products, but that's not what i'm going to write about =]

if your laptop is a p4 with hyperthreading and you're booting the SMP kernel, there's a known bug in FC1 (and probably other distros) where the SMP kernel will not boot properly.  if this is the case for you, have you tried the non-SMP kernel?
