apt-get question

Hello everyone,

My FC1 box runs this every night:

apt-get -qq update && apt-get -s -qq dist-upgrade

to see if there is anything that needs upgrading. The output now is
like this:

Inst xvidcore (1.0.0-0.rc3.1.fr Fedora Linux 1 Freshrpms:1/Fedora Linux Freshrpms)

but when I do apt-get upgrade it only echoes this, but does no
upgrade...

The following packages have been kept back
  libpostproc mplayer
  0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 removed and 2 not upgraded.

Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!
