Is Linux always so frustating^

Yes quite possibly it is frustrating.
The alternatives, though, limit my ability to do work and tasks that
otherwise would be impossible for me.
In fact today I couldn't burn an iso in KDE so I reinitialized my dev's
and switched to init 3 and burned them.
With M.Scat milli-numb on my laptop (being removed right now as I
install core 1) was incessantly crashing while a tried to load a
program. I had no other options.
Ask and someone should know another way round.
