Printing doesn't work after upgrade to kernel 2.6.5

I upgraded to kernel 2.6.5 last week, and now printing doesn't work.  I
use CUPS as my print system, and the print jobs are being listed if I run
the "lpq" command.

No changes were made to the .config file between 2.6.4 and 2.6.5.

Printing still works on 2.6.4.

I'm hesitant to file a bug with the appropriate kernel maintainers until I
can verify that CUPS isn't the problem.

Has anyone else experienced this?
