Have a look at 3ware products. I assume you speak of IDE (SATA or PATA)
RAID controllers. Using SCSI there is of course ICP Vortex (meanwhile an
Intel company) with fine products.

Keep away from cheap Promise controller chip cards or HighPoint or what
else. Those are no real hardware RAID controller cards. We had that
topic already discussed in here several times.
