Can I use a RedHat 7.2 boot disk to install Fedora via nfs?

first off, your ram is a paltry amount by modern standards, i don't think
you'll want to install a full blown/bloated distro of linux.  why not hit
distrowatch and grab one of the minimalist linux distros out there that
are somewhat well maintained?  will the fedora installer even run when you
have only 32mb of ram?  anyone know?

and if you want to run a more robust/modern linux distro, i suggest
finding out if your machine takes EDO or whatever kind of ram, the max/etc
and then hit ebay and get as much as you can.  you'll probably max out at
128mb (if you're lucky), but that'll be enough to keep your box from
killing itself with fedora.

and, my advice is this, stick with 7.2 on the laptop, upgrade what you can
by compiling (good lord, i remember compiling on my 486/100, i feel your
pain, but that at least had 96 megs of ram and was back in 1997)

i don't mean to bag on your box, dude, but you're going to have a hard
time getting anything modern running on that.

and, if you're doing nothing but text-mode on the box, then definitely
stick with 7.2, maybe go for 7.3.  the only thing you'd really gain by
jumping is a more modern desktop, but i don't think you'd wnat to use this
as a desktop, you'd also gain more modern server utils, but i don't think
that box would be much good for a server of any sort...
