All,

I downloaded and installed Fedora core 1 on my P4, 1G ram, Nvidia FX 5200 128
MB, Samsung SyncMaster LCD 213T (1600x1200) machine. The kernel run is default
one on FC1, 2.4.22-1.2115.nptlsmp.

When I start X, my screen goes completely blank. I am using just one mode of
1600x1200 with 24 bit color. It picks up the correct "nv" driver.

Following is snippet from /var/log/messages when I try to start X.

The following is the snippet from XFree86 log. I have just 'grep'ed the probed
lines and warning lines. There were no errors.

I have iptables installed but I stopped that service when I was trying to start
x.

Any help is appreicated,
- jay
