X Error: Blank screen

According to the NVIDIA driver site, there is a problem with older
drivers, theirs and the generic XF86 drivers with the Samsung notebooks.
Their newest driver, v 1.0-5336, addresses this problem. Download it
from http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_1.0-5336.html.
