See the first draft of the "Small Netserver HOWTO" online. Incomplete but 
progressing, reachable from:

Starts with the 505MB minimum install by deselecting all packages, then 
removes a bunch of other stuff until you have a working and useful system 
with around 380MB of hard drive used. Is also quite happy to live inside 
32MB RAM, although Anaconda will not install in this space. Of course, the 
only reason this system is happy is because it runs in *text* mode without 
X or a GUI.
