Problem with Fedora1 and ipop3d

I am certain I do not have multiple pop3 servers or file shares. Nor do I
believe there could be multiple instances of the ipop3d accessing the file
since I have a controlled test on my workstation with one mail client
running. However, this is my ipop3d configuration from xinetd

service pop3
{
	log_on_success += HOST DURATION
	log_on_failure += HOST
	bind = 127.0.0.1
	socket_type = stream
	user = root
	server = /usr/sbin/ipop3d
	wait = no
}
