Install Probem FC-1 Samsung Syncmaster 192n LCD monitor

I have the same setup, FX5200 and 213T, I had a problem after I
installed the nvidia drivers that the desktop went off the screen.  I
changed the hsync manually and it worked fine.  Just incase anyone has
the problem

In similar situation ( I have nvidia FX5200 card and Samsung Syncmaster
213T), I tried "linux text" install. This got me further in install.
Later on I found that I need to use the latest nvidia driver for my
card. 

You may want to check.
