cyradm not working when building from source

You did not mention what is happening and which error messages you get,
nor which error messages appear in the logs. How should anybody be able
to help? Describe which authentification mechanism you use and how you
did set it up. In addition have a look at the great Simon Matter efforts
to build Cyrus Imapd RPMs for RH9/FC1 (they are the basis for the
upcoming official FC2 Cyrus Imapd):

If you do not patch your DB4, then you will run into the same situation
as other K6/Athlon users like me.
