up2date --installall

Hi all,

I've installed fedora with a select set of packages and such.
I have tried to keep package installations to a minimum.

I've run up2date to do an automatic installation of the updates
of my currently installed packages.

(I have mirrors setup in sources and yum.conf)

I ran the following command:

up2date --installall --channel=fedora-updates-released

This installed a boat load of packages that I purposely
did not install during my OS build. What should I be
doing differently to update ONLY the packates that are
installed???

Thanks for any and all help.
