Adjust the values
HorizSync 30.0 - 107.0
VertRefresh 50.0 - 150.0
in /etc/X11/XF86Config. If you think after adjusting these values
fitting your specific monitor and restarting the X server that you need
resolution specific vertical refresh rates then you would have to create
modelines. Normally that is not necessary.
