libbonobo UD Breaks Evol. + Yum Problem

libbonobo 2.6.2-1.i386 breaks Evolution. I get repeated screens with the
incoherent CORBA messages. It's an easy fix - just re-install the old
package  BUT; 

I cannot get Yum to recognize multiple excludes from yum.conf. I already
have kernel* excluded. What magic incantation is required to add
libbonobo? I have tried multiple exclude statements as well as one
exclude with commas, tabs and spaces. Nothing works.
