This has a lot more to do with the router than it has to do with
rdesktop. rdesktop has lots of options, but I use it basically like this:
rdesktop -g WidthxHeight hostname_or_ipadress
(where "WidthxHeight" is really "800x600" or whatever). Sometimes I add
the "-f" option for full-screen.
So if I understand your question right, what you really need to know is
either
a) the local IP address of the machines you want to connect to, if the
router is set up correctly and it's a regular router;
b) If your router is doing NAT, the apparent, mapped IP addresses (on
your side of the router) of the machines you're trying to connect to;
c) the hostnames of the machines you're trying to connect to, if the
router or firewall is set up correctly and DNS is working.
Basically, what I'm saying is, if you can ping the machine, you should
be able to rdesktop to it with the command above (as long as the
machines are running Terminal Services). The router should be invisible
to rdesktop.
