gnome-settings-dameon crashes when I log in as root

Well, I did rpm -Uvh --replacepkgs 
/mnt/cdrom/Fedora/RPMS/control-center-*.rpm and it installed the rpm 
with no error messages, so I'll see what ir does when I log in as root 
next time...
