gui based on interbase / interclient with linux

tried google and seems a lot.. and don't want to try install then remove
if not liked ..

want install some "proven" good gui based for interbase/interclient on
linux

im using fedora and eclipse as my IDE, i got to think that openoffice
can support but as i do check out the 

"officeCalc" -> Tools >> Data Sources >> and choos "JDBC" as my
databaseType but it would only say 

"this kind of data source is not supported on this platform . . . "

any inputs?
