Fedora in a notebook Toshiba A 45

Dear Sres:
   
I have a notebook Toshiba A 45 and want to install the Fedora Core 2. I believe that the only thing that won't be supported will be the modem. Will the modem be supported or does some module that being installed it can solve the problem?
