on RedHat9 / FC1 a rebuild of a 60GB mirror
takes about 30 hours, and the syslog indicates that it runs with a
(possibly configurable) cap on the bandwidth it takes to do so...
but then I'm running PIO not DMA :-( on SATA drives on A7N8X2.0Dlx.
