Unable to activate ehternet card

Hey Shefali -

Is your network interface set up to use DHCP (hint:  what does your
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 look like)?  If so, is there a
DHCP server on your network?

What do your firewall rules look like?  Run the command 'service iptables
status' as root and report what it says.
