I got it. They have a broken router!

 echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_window_scaling

and then it will work for you. To deactivate TCP window scaling set it
as following in the /etc/sysctl.conf:

# deactivate TCP window scaling
net.ipv4.tcp_window_scaling = 0
