Do you require the bell for anything? You could turn it off if you
like. If you want to turn it off globally, (assuming you're the only
user of said machine) you can edit /etc/inputrc. There is a
commented out line which disable the bell when uncommented. First
line in the file I do believe.

"set bell-style none" is the line you are looking for.
