Help in installing Fedora dvd

I believe with Dell machines CDROM is a generic term for any optical
drive. That's been my experience in my work environment anyhow. What
you can try doing (I don't know what type of Dell you have), is
setting your first two devices for boot at CDROM.

If the above is not suitable for you, then unhook your cdrom device
and the BIOS should detect your boot image on the DVD and attempt to
boot.
