all u need is mgetty and ppp package that include in
Fedora Core distribution,

sample conf:
1. /etc/inittab
T3:23:respawn:/sbin/mgetty -x0 -s 57600 ttyS1

2. # kill 1 1 (to reload inittab)

3. chmod u+s /usr/sbin/pppd ( so can be running by
user)

4. /etc/mgetty+sendfax/login.config
AutoPPP/ - a_ppp /usr/sbin/pppd auth -chap +pap login
debug (user can be auth itself, so not have bring
terminal after dialing)

5. egrep -v '#|^ *$' /etc/ppp/options
ms-dns 192.168.0.1
asyncmap 0
auth
crtscts
lock
hide-password
modem
netmask 255.255.255.0
+pap
proxyarp
lcp-echo-interval 30
lcp-echo-failure 4
noipx
(http://mbone.petra.ac.id/u/ichtus/ras_server.html)

the problem is using this conf, kppp won't work
so using system-config-network for setup dialup from
this machine (that function as RAS server too)
