2.6.8 kernel and CD-RW

A bug was found in the 2.6.8 kernel which prevents cd-rw drives from being recongized when using any software that uses cdrecord. This happens to users only. You can use the software if you run as root. I would drop back to the 2.6.7 kernel until this is resolved.
