installation problem

I don't fully understand your problem description, but I guess the real
problem is that during installation Fedora can not properly use the
CD-ROM drive. This is no uncommon problem. See i.e. www.fedorafaq.org
for hints: try booting into installation with "linux cdnodma" or "linux
ide=nodma".
