Soundcard configuration lost following a reboot

Yes it is. Worked fine in RH9 but stopped following the FC2 upgrade. 

[I've an nvidia board but I'm using the snd-intel driver instead of the
nvidia (nvsound) one at the moment - one thing at a time...]
