Is Fedora Core slower than RH 9 ?

I (wife actually) used to run RHL 6.2 ona Pentium 133 with 64 Mbytes of RAM.

Now she has a Pentium III 550 with 256 Mb, I have an Athlon 1400 with 512 
Mbytes and plan on trebling it.
