bizarre yum behaviour

As you can see, newpg and libksba are installed on my system:
[root at laptop trevor]# rpm -q libksba
libksba-0.4.7-0.fdr.1.2
[root at laptop trevor]# rpm -q newpg
newpg-0.9.4-0.fdr.2.2
I can not update newpg via yum because it is the latest version:
[root at laptop trevor]# yum update newpg
Gathering header information file(s) from server(s)
[...]
Finding updated packages
Downloading needed headers
newpg is installed and the latest version.
No actions to take
And I can not update libksba for an undecipherable (to me) reason:
[root at laptop trevor]# yum update libksba
Gathering header information file(s) from server(s)
[...]
Finding updated packages
Downloading needed headers
Resolving dependencies
.Package newpg needs libksba.so.0, this is not available.
But I can not update ANYTHING with "yum update" anymore because every time it
tests dependencies, I get the same error as above:
.Package newpg needs libksba.so.0, this is not available.
What can this mean? How can I solve it so that yum update works for me again?
