FC2 -> FC3 upgrade question

I was regularly keeping my FC2 up2date, but something changed on FC3 
with regards to both smartd and samba.  I'm not sure what did it, but 
FC2->smartd always "failed", due to my RAID card.  FC3 now detects and 
handles it correctly.
