log of "sched.c"

Check contents of your syslog.conf file .

If you have :
 #Log anything (except mail) of level info or higher
#Don't log private authentication messages!
*.info;mail.none;authpriv.none;cron.none /var/log/messages

change :
authpriv.none to authpriv
and :
cron.none to cron.*


Also look at man syslog.conf for more comprehensive info.

And you can read : 
/usr/src/linux/Documentation/sysctl/kernel.txt or
/usr/src/linux/Documentation/proc.txt in older kernels.
