[Ron Moore] I have the same problem on a dell pe 750 with sata drives and an
adaptec card. I don’t believe this problem is specific to FC3, but rather
2.8 and later kernels. I can install FC2 just fine, but when updating the
kernel to 2.6.9 I get the same hang on reboot with the shrill alarm. I have
been looking hard , but no answer yet.
