Can't boot New Installation.

G'day all,
This is an FC 3 newbie question and I apologise if the answer is "out 
there" and I haven't found it!

I installed FC 3 to a partion on my hard drive (which previously held 
Mandrake 10.) "Grub" was installed to the MBR.  Reboot after the 
installation got as far as a "Grub" shell/command line and stopped. I 
have no idea where to go from there.

The first partion is Win2K ntfs, 10G or so and does go past the 1024cyl.

Mandrake 10/ LILO boots just fine, in fact I've re-installed Mandrake 10 
to get access to Win2k.

So, what did I do wrong~
