ejecting cd-rom

          df -h
    if you not have one ligne with : /dev/hdc , your CDROM is not mounted

     else, execute  :
          cd <enter>
          eject /dev/hdc  or eject cdrom
         
       but see this file : /etc/fstab
       for see your mount point of this device
